the orchid is a fluent and most important seamless shape, comfortable to sit on even without any upholstering and is designed with a love for detail. the natural contours and it's organic forms inspired by the leaves of an orchid, smoother the body as you sit down and as you lean back the backrest flexes slightly.

Sebastian Gronemeyer

german born designer sebastian gronemeyer grew up surrounded by the works of arne jacobsen (whose egg chair provided a perfect hiding place as a kid), poul kjærholm (whose hard edged bases account for many almost broken toes) and eero saarinen (whose tulip chair served as a carousel on the dinner table).

at the age of eighteen he designed and build an electric guitar, upon which he decided to pursue a career in the arts.

he studied design in north america and worked in several different countries around the world.
